

BOAT TRIP TO THE NEGRO RIVER AREA – ANAVILHANAS ISLAND
ANAVILHANAS: 3 Days / 2 nights

Start:
Leave the hotel at 8:30 am.ad arrive at Market to board the boat.
Itinerary :
Meeting of the Waters, Janauari Park, Anavilhanas Archipelago and surrounding areas.
1st Day -
After accompanying you to the port ,we head down the Rio Negro and operated regional house boat .After taking in the skyline of Manaus we head for famous Meeting of the Waters .The boat ,then proceeds to the janauary park for a short stroll to see the Grand Victoria Water Lilies .After this ,we board a canoe and explore some of the amazing flooded forest (igarapes) of the Amazon River. Further events include piranha fishing, a visit to the neighboring caboclos (the local people ) an introduction to local fauna and flora plus an Cayman photo safari at nightfall.
2nd Day -
Morning jungle trekking with identification of medicinal plants, exotic birds and rare trees species.In the afternoon , we ´ill explore the magnificent Anavilhanas Archipelago using traditional wood canoes .Plus onshore camping with open fires, nocturnal animal symphony and tree-slung hammocks (optional).
3rd Day -
A visit to a traditional, local community is featured where you can observe their customs and ways of life. Later, select beaches and refreshing waterfalls (seasonal), are sought out for swimming and sunbathing. Transportation and Accommodations Regional house boat with hammocks, shower,upper deck and sun chairs.

Meeting of the Waters,Janauari Park Iranduba Lake, Anavilhanas Archipelago, Cuieiras River Rio Negro river tributary).
1st Day -
transfer to the port, we head down the Rio Negro an operated regional house boat.After taking in the skyline of Manaus we head for famous Meeting of the Waters.The boat, then proceeds to the Janauary park for a short stroll to see the Gran Vitoria Water Lilies. After this, we board a canoe and explore some amazing flooded forest (igarapé) of the Amazon River. Further events include piranha fishing, a visit, to the neiboring caboclos (the local people) an introduction to local fauna and flora plus an Cayman photo safari at nightfall.
2nd Day -
We will board a regional canoe and explore the lakes and igapos (floaded forests), of Iranduba to observe the exotic birds and local flora. In the end of the day we’ll head up to the Rio Negro river where we’ll spend our second night.
3rd Day -
Jungle trekking identification of medicinal plants and local wildlife.After lunch, we will make our way towards the distinctive Anavilhanas Archipelago for canoeing and sunset watching.
4th Day -
Visit to a local indigenous community.Appreciation of their culture and daily lives.Beaches and small waterfalls (seasonal) will be sought for a refreshing swimming.
5th Day -
If you choose the continue on the fifth day, we’ll travel through the Archipelago towards the Cuieras River,a tributary of the Rio Negro We’ll identify various interesting points on the islands and river.Jungle trekking and onshore camping are scheduled.
